Speaking & Consulting
What kind of program, and how to build it

Higher ed esports is past "should we have a program." The question now is what kind, and that's a structural decision: athletics, rec sports, student affairs, or academic. I help institutions answer it, then build it.

How I Work with Institutions
From feasibility study to championship floor
Program feasibility & launch

Scoping studies and launch proposals for colleges building or rebuilding esports: structural home, staffing, facility, budget, title selection, and the first-three-years plan. Currently advising Texas A&M University-Central Texas on its varsity esports proposal.

Governance, eligibility & policy

Eligibility frameworks, compliance design, codes of conduct, and handbook authorship, informed by chairing NACE's Eligibility Enforcement Committee and writing the Texas Esports Collective's scholastic and collegiate eligibility policy from scratch.

Events & competition design

Championship and LAN design from format to floor plan. I organize the Texas Esports Conference season and the Metroplex Major (DFW, February 2027), and I built the venue partnership model with the Boeing Center at Tech Port that took a regional program national.

Scholastic ecosystems

District and school esports programs that survive their founding coach: league structure, coach training, and the student-to-coach pipeline.

Selected Institutional Work
  • Texas A&M University-Central Texas: varsity esports program proposal (2026)
  • Texas A&M System Showdown: created the System's first cross-campus esports championship, now an annual tradition (Boeing Center at Tech Port, 2025)

  • Federal Work-Study esports roles: designing paid scholastic-mentor and event-operations positions with Texas universities
  • Texas Esports Collective: founded the statewide 501(c)(3); eligibility policy, season design, and a championship at the Boeing Center in year one
